In June we took a camping trip to southern Colorado... We camped around Durango and had an interesting time. We visited Mesa Verde and the cliff dwellings. We also rode the train from Durango to Silverton & back. Both outings were a lot of fun. The actual "camping" part of the trip came as quite a suprise to Christy - the camping "veteran." Let's see....from the rain every day which created some challenges....to our grand finale: the last night of our trip was spent listening to Durango high school hoodlums mixing loud music with fireworks (and we assume alcohol). It was quite the adventure. Over all, however, it was a lot of fun, and we were glad for the experience!
